As part of a full house renovation, the ground floor hallway of this Wimbledon town house was renovated to include herringbone flooring, bespoke hallway cabinet for storage/ hanging space and crittall screen at the bottom of the staircase between hallway wall and lounge.

During the renovation of this home the stair case was turned and another flight added so instead of the start of the staircase being directly opposite the front door, the entrance is now at a 45 degree angle to the front door. As you descend the staircase to the ground floor the crittall glass is placed directly opposite the bottom of the stairs, giving the feeling of space, openness and brightness in the hallway.
